Adamawa State secured a remarkable second place in the 2023 NECO results. With 51.5% of its students achieving five credits or more, including Mathematics and English, Adamawa State has demonstrated a dedication to quality education, contributing positively to the North-East geopolitical zone.
- Kebbi State – The Lowest Performer
In stark contrast to the successes of Abia and Adamawa, Kebbi State encountered significant challenges in the 2023 NECO examination. The state recorded the lowest performance, with a concerning 0.310% of candidates meeting the required five-credit benchmark, including Mathematics and English. Kebbi State, located in the northwest region of Nigeria, must address these educational hurdles to improve its educational standards.
