What’s New for 2025?

  1. Mandatory NIN for Registration
    Candidates must provide their National Identification Number (NIN) to create a profile and complete registration. This ensures a secure and transparent process.
  2. Trial Testing for Underage Candidates
    A new initiative allows candidates below the age of 16 (as of September 30, 2025) to participate in a Mock UTME as a preparatory exercise.
  3. Cashless Payments
    All payments during registration and examinations will be strictly cashless, minimizing fraud and ensuring efficiency.
  4. E-PIN Categories
    Candidates can choose from four e-PIN categories based on their registration needs:
    • Mock Trial Testing: ₦3,500
    • Direct Entry: ₦5,700
    • UTME without Mock: ₦7,200
    • UTME with Mock: ₦8,700

Steps to Register for the 2025 UTME/DE:

  1. Create Your Profile Code
    Send your NIN to either 55019 or 66019 via SMS from your unique phone number.
  2. Purchase E-PIN
    Use the generated profile code to purchase an e-PIN through authorized vendors or financial institutions.
  3. Visit a JAMB-Accredited CBT Centre
    Complete your registration, including biometric capture and upload of required documents.
  4. Confirmation and Printing
