In a significant move to strengthen healthcare ties with Nigeria, American Hospital Dubai has announced the upcoming opening of its second Nigerian office in Abuja, slated for December 2024. This expansion follows the successful launch of the hospital’s first Nigerian representative office in Lagos on August 19, 2024. The Lagos office, inaugurated by the UAE Consulate General in Nigeria, Dr. Abdullah Al-Mandoos, alongside Lagos State’s Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, has already begun facilitating access to advanced medical care in Dubai.
According to Prince Tonye Princewill, Board Member of American Hospital Dubai Nigeria Limited, the Abuja office will play a pivotal role in making top-tier healthcare more accessible to Nigerians. “We are expanding to Abuja to provide greater access to our services. Just like the Lagos office, this new facility will serve as a healthcare ‘embassy,’ easing the process for patients seeking treatment at American Hospital Dubai,” Princewill stated.
