In another distressing episode of violence, bandits have seized at least 60 individuals from Buba village in the Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The attack unfolded in the early hours of Tuesday, catching the villagers unaware as they slept soundly in their homes.
According to reports from Abubakar Buda, the Councilor representing the ward, the assailants, numbering significantly, invaded the community, launching into a spree of house-to-house abductions while firing guns indiscriminately. The swift response of the military prevented further abductions, albeit some residents sustained injuries while attempting to flee the chaos.

While the police are yet to officially confirm the incident, security personnel have been deployed to safeguard the community and thwart any subsequent attacks by the marauding bandits.
This grim occurrence comes mere days after a similar raid in the Kuriga community of the Chikun Local Government Area, where 287 students from LEA Primary School and Government Secondary School were abducted by bandits.
The recurrence of such brazen attacks underscores the urgent need for enhanced security measures to safeguard the lives and property of citizens in vulnerable areas.
