BATNF 2025 Grant Now Open for Young Farmers and NYSC Members

The British American Tobacco Nigeria Foundation (BATNF) has officially launched the 2025 edition of its flagship “Farmers for the Future (F4F)” Grant, aimed at empowering young Nigerians—including serving NYSC members—to build sustainable agribusiness ventures through funding, mentorship, and business development support.

According to an official statement released on Friday, July 7, applications are now open and will close on July 20, 2025. Interested applicants must download the BATNF Mobile App—available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store—to complete their application.

What the Grant Offers

Now in its sixth year, the F4F programme offers:

• Up to ₦10 million in equity funding
• A structured business accelerator bootcamp
• One year of tailored mentorship
• Access to a national network of agribusiness owners

BATNF’s General Manager emphasized that the programme is not just about funding. “We see agriculture as a powerful tool for job creation, food security, and innovation across Nigeria.”

“Farmers for the Future is more than a grant,” he said. “It’s a platform for building youth-led agribusinesses that impact communities and contribute to national growth.”

Proven Impact

Past winners have moved from small-scale vegetable farming to managing structured, thriving agribusinesses. Many are now contributing to local food systems, job creation, and improved farming practices.
