Umara Zulum Umara, son of Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum, has been detained in India following a fatal altercation with a Chinese national. The incident, which occurred at a nightclub in New Delhi, reportedly involved a dispute over a woman.

The tragic event took place two weeks ago while Governor Zulum was in Pakistan, attending a post-insurgency workshop with the governors of Adamawa and Yobe states.
