Former Vice President and 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has announced the formation of a coalition of opposition parties aimed at unseating President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
Atiku made this declaration during a press conference held at the Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja, where he spoke on behalf of opposition leaders.
“This marks the beginning of a united front for the opposition ahead of 2027,” Atiku stated, emphasizing the coalition’s commitment to providing an alternative to Tinubu’s administration.
The coalition, comprising various political parties, is expected to strategize on policies, alliances, and campaign efforts in the coming months to strengthen its position against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
