The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and universities across Nigeria have set the new admission cut-off mark at 140. This announcement was made by JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, at the 2024 Policy Meeting of Tertiary Institutions in Abuja. This policy meeting, currently in session, includes the Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, as well as vice-chancellors, rectors, registrars of higher institutions, and other stakeholders.
Additionally, JAMB has set the minimum cut-off mark for admission into polytechnics and colleges of education at 100. This move aims to standardize admission requirements and ensure a level playing field for all applicants across various higher education institutions in the country.
