Kebbi State Announces 2024/2025 Scholarship Screening Dates for Waziri Umaru Poly

The Kebbi State Government has officially announced the screening dates for the 2024/2025 scholarship beneficiaries from Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin-Kebbi. The exercise targets students in B.Sc, HND, ND, and NCE programmes, and it is set to begin on Thursday, 3rd July 2025, ending on Sunday, 6th July 2025.

The verification is to facilitate the payment of registration fees for qualified students, according to a statement issued by the President of the National Union of Kebbi State Students (NUKESS), Kessa.

Screening Schedule by Local Government Area:

• Thursday, 3rd July 2025:
  Birnin-Kebbi only
• Friday, 4th July 2025:
  Zuru, Fakai, Danko Wasagu, Ngaski, and Sakaba
• Saturday, 5th July 2025:
  Gwandu, Kalgo, Bunza, Jega, Maiyama, Suru, Koko Besse, and Bagudo
• Sunday, 6th July 2025:
  Argungu, Augie, Aliero, Dandi, Yauri, Shanga, and Arewa

Na’amo Hall, Birnin-Kebbi
Time: 8:00 AM prompt

Documents Required for Screening:

All prospective beneficiaries must appear in person and come along with the following:

1. NUKESS Receipt (₦1000)
2. Student ID Card or Confirmation of Admission
3. Local Government Indigene Certificate
4. Primary School Certificate
5. Remita/Invoice for the Current Academic Session
6. One Recent Passport Photograph

Students are strongly advised to adhere to their scheduled date and arrive early with complete documentation to avoid delays or disqualification.
