The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations has opened applications for the 2025 World Food Forum (WFF) Internship Programme, calling on young innovators, leaders, and changemakers from around the world to take part in this unique opportunity in Rome, Italy.

About the WFF Internship Programme

Available Internship Tracks and Focus Areas

1. Coordination and Management

Interns in this category will help plan and execute the World Food Forum’s flagship events. They will coordinate with different departments, support project implementation, and ensure effective communication between teams.

2. Youth Assembly

This internship focuses on engaging young leaders in dialogue and policymaking. Participants will help organize youth consultations and support advocacy initiatives that represent global youth voices.

3. Education and Capacity Building

Education interns will work on designing training programs, developing learning materials, and coordinating youth-oriented workshops.

5. Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Innovation interns will support youth-led initiatives that promote technology, creativity, and social entrepreneurship to address food system challenges.

6. Local Action and Community Impact

Interns in this category will work directly with communities to implement FAO youth programs at the national level, establish youth chapters, and document local success stories.

7. Social Media and Communications

This role involves managing FAO-WFF digital platforms, creating engaging content, and enhancing online visibility across global audiences.

8. Partnerships and Networking

Interns will support collaboration with international partners, NGOs, and private organizations to strengthen the reach and effectiveness of FAO’s youth programs.

9. Digital Development

Digital interns will help maintain and improve the World Food Forum website and digital systems, ensuring a smooth and user-friendly experience.
