
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFiB) has announced the commencement of its 2025 recruitment exercise into four major paramilitary agencies under its oversight: the Nigeria Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
This nationwide recruitment drive is aimed at strengthening the workforce in key sectors of national security and public safety. Eligible Nigerians are invited to apply for various full-time positions across different cadres.

Available Job Categories and Qualifications
1. General Duty/Superintendent Cadre
Candidates applying under this category must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in specific fields. These positions vary across the services and may require specialization in areas such as Medicine, Law, or Engineering depending on the agency.
2. Inspectorate Cadre
This category is open to holders of National Diplomas (ND), NCE, or nursing qualifications such as Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Midwife (RM), or RN/M. Specific qualifications are required depending on the agency and position.
3. Assistant Cadre
Applicants with GCE Ordinary Level or SSCE/NECO with a minimum of five credits—including English and Mathematics—can apply under this category. In some roles, vocational training such as Trade Test Grade III is acceptable.

General Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- Applicants must meet physical and medical fitness standards.
- Candidates should be between 18 and 35 years of age.
- Male applicants must not be less than 1.65m in height, while females must be at least 1.60m.
- Chest measurement for male candidates must not be less than 0.87m.
- Computer literacy is considered an added advantage.
- Applicants must have a clean record with no criminal convictions or financial misconduct.

All applications must be submitted online through the official CDCFiB recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.org. The portal opens on Thursday, June 26, 2025, and applications will be accepted for a period of three (3) weeks from the date of publication.
Important Notes:
- Applicants are allowed to apply to only one of the four agencies.
- Multiple applications across different agencies will lead to disqualification.
- Only candidates who present their original qualifications at the recruitment centers will be processed.
- Submission of fake documents or involvement in fraudulent activities will result in automatic disqualification and possible prosecution.
