CDCFIB Launches New Recruitment Portal for NSCDC, Immigration, Fire and Correctional Services

CDCFIB Launches New Recruitment Portal for NSCDC, Immigration, Fire and Correctional Services

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially announced a change in the recruitment schedule and application platform for four key paramilitary agencies in Nigeria. These include the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service, and Nigeria Correctional Service.

Portal Launch Date Postponed

Originally slated to open in late June 2025, the recruitment portal has now been rescheduled to go live on Monday, July 14, 2025. This change affects all applicants who intend to apply for jobs in any of the four services mentioned.

The board stated that the decision to postpone the launch was taken to ensure a smoother application process and to address technical requirements before opening the portal to the public.

New Official Portal for Applications

All interested applicants are now required to submit their applications through a newly introduced portal. The new official website for the recruitment is:

https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng

This new site replaces the earlier publicized URL (recruitment.cdcfib.org), which is no longer in use. Candidates are strongly advised to use only the updated link to avoid misinformation or failed applications.

Application is Completely Free

CDCFIB has reiterated that the recruitment exercise is free of charge. Under no circumstances should applicants pay money to anyone for assistance or placement. The board warned against fraudulent individuals or fake platforms attempting to deceive applicants.

Key Information for Applicants

To ensure successful participation in the recruitment exercise, applicants should note the following:

The CDCFIB’s decision to update its recruitment portal and postpone the opening date reflects a commitment to providing a seamless and secure application process. Interested Nigerians are encouraged to prepare ahead and avoid unofficial sources of information.
