How to Simply Apply for Civil Defence, Immigration, Fire and Correctional Services Recruitment Portal

Civil Defence, Immigration, Fire and Correctional Services Recruitment Portal 2025

The Federal Government has officially reopened the online recruitment portal for the Civil Defence, Immigration, Fire, and Correctional Services on Monday, July 21, 2025, following a temporary closure due to technical upgrades.

The portal, accessible at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, is now live for applicants who had previously started their application process. Interested candidates are urged to log in and complete their applications before the next phase begins.

Why the Portal Was Temporarily Closed

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) suspended the portal on July 16 to carry out essential system enhancements. According to the Board, the temporary shutdown became necessary after numerous applicants reported issues such as site crashes, login errors, and incomplete submissions.

The system upgrade is designed to improve the platform’s ability to handle high traffic and ensure a more transparent, fair, and efficient recruitment process.
