What the Agreement Between the Federal Government and Cement Manufacturers Means:

The recent agreement between the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu government and the Cement Manufacturers which include Dangote Cement, BUA Cement Lafarge, Ibeto, and others, sought to bring the right price for the benefit of our country.

The Federal Government and Cement Manufacturers’ agreement seem to bring the 50kg bag of cement to be priced within the range of N7,000 to N8,000.

Price Agreements for Retailers’ Compliances

Many Cement Retailers ignore the recent Federal Government agreement to slash the cement price, which many use to sell cement at a high price, the prices that the Federal Government wants are between N7,000 and N8,500 per 50kg bag of cement.

How Much is the Cement Price in Nigeria Today 13th May 2024?

According to the research conducted by our officials, the current cement price for today have listed below;

Dangote Cement: Available at prices ranging from ₦7,000 to ₦8,000 for a 50kg bag, with the exact price varying depending on the location.
BUA Cement: Can be purchased at retail prices spanning from ₦6,700 to ₦8,000.
Ibeto Cement: Falls within the range of ₦8,500 to ₦9,500.
Lafarge Cement: Priced between ₦7,950 and ₦9,500.
UNICEM Cement: Retail prices fluctuate between ₦8,000 and ₦9,000, contingent on the location of purchase.
POP Cement: Presently priced at ₦9,100 per bag.
