Nigerian music icon David Adeleke, known as Davido, has set a new record for the most-watched TikTok live stream in Africa, with a total viewership of 389,800. The live stream, held on Wednesday, October 30, was co-hosted by popular TikTok stars Peller, Jarvis, and Jo Blaq and attracted over 164,000 viewers at its peak.
During the session, Davido’s fans showed immense support by sending him more than 377 lion gifts, a top-tier TikTok item priced at $400 each. Davido later announced that all earnings from these gifts would go to his co-hosts, Peller, Jarvis, and Jo Blaq, as a token of appreciation for their collaboration.
