EFCC Arrests 48 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Asaba, Seizes Luxury Cars

In a major operation, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 48 individuals in Asaba, Delta State, over alleged involvement in internet fraud. The suspects were apprehended at various locations following credible intelligence on their activities.

Details of the Arrest

The EFCC’s Benin Zonal Command led the operation, targeting individuals suspected of engaging in cybercrime. Among those arrested are:

During the operation, the EFCC seized several items linked to the suspects’ alleged fraudulent activities, including:

  • Three Mercedes Benz GLK 350 vehicles
  • One Toyota Camry SE
  • Two Lexus RX 350 vehicles
  • Two Toyota Camry LE vehicles
  • One Mercedes Benz GLA 250 4Matic
  • Multiple phones and laptops

EFCC’s Commitment
