In a major operation, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 48 individuals in Asaba, Delta State, over alleged involvement in internet fraud. The suspects were apprehended at various locations following credible intelligence on their activities.

The EFCC’s Benin Zonal Command led the operation, targeting individuals suspected of engaging in cybercrime. Among those arrested are:

- One Mercedes Benz GLA 250 4Matic
- Multiple phones and laptops
