Federal Government (FMYD) Releases Progress Report on Ongoing Youth Programs

The Federal Ministry of Youth Development has released a progress update on six flagship initiatives designed to empower Nigerian youth with employable skills, financial support, digital inclusion, and health awareness. The ministry reiterated that these programs are key to preparing young Nigerians for employment, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods.

1. Nigerian Youth Academy (NiYA)

Initiative: One Youth, Two Skills – ensuring every youth acquires at least two employable skills for entrepreneurship and job opportunities.
