The Federal Government has announced the commencement of applications for the 2025 Federal Scholarship Board (FSB) Education Bursary Award. The bursary is open to Nigerian students studying education-related courses in public tertiary institutions across the country.
The bursary, which is administered by the Federal Ministry of Education through the Federal Scholarship Board, offers ₦150,000 annually to each successful applicant.

Who Can Apply
According to the guidelines released by the Ministry, only students currently enrolled full-time in universities and colleges of education are eligible. Applicants must be in their second year or higher and must not be receiving any other scholarship.
Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
Applicants are expected to submit the following documents:
- A completed application form
- Admission letter from their institution
- A valid state of origin certificate
- National Identity Number (NIN)
- Current academic transcript or CGPA result

Interested candidates should:
- Visit https://fsbn.com.ng/scholarships
- Select the ‘Federal Education Bursary Award (EBA)’ option
- Follow the instructions and fill the online form
- Print a copy of the completed form for reference
