
The Federal Government has announced the postponement of the 2025 nationwide recruitment into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service, and Nigerian Correctional Service.
This update was issued by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) in a statement released on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. The recruitment exercise was initially scheduled to begin on Thursday, June 26, 2025. However, the Board has now fixed a new date for the opening of the application portal.
According to the statement:
“The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) wishes to notify the general public that its recruitment portal, which was earlier slated to open on Thursday, 26th June 2025, will now open on a new date.”
The Board also confirmed that the official recruitment portal is
https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.
Applicants are strongly advised to disregard any other websites or individuals demanding payment in exchange for application access. The Board reiterated that the entire application process is free of charge.

How to Apply for CDCFIB Recruitment 2025
All interested applicants are to follow these steps once the portal is open on the new date:
- Visit the official application portal: https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng
- Select your preferred agency: NSCDC, Immigration Service, Fire Service, or Correctional Service.
- Fill in your personal and educational details as required.
- Upload necessary documents in the format specified on the portal.
- Review your application for accuracy and submit.
- Print your confirmation slip for reference.
Important Reminders:
- Only applications submitted through the official portal will be accepted.
- No payment is required at any stage of the application.
- Applicants should beware of fraudulent individuals or groups claiming to offer job slots.
The CDCFIB expressed regret over the inconvenience caused by the rescheduling and urged all applicants to remain patient and vigilant.
