In a startling revelation, Senator Elisha Abbo has alleged that a group of five senators may soon face removal from their positions in the Nigerian Senate due to their lack of support for Godswill Akpabio’s bid for the Senate presidency. The senator made this revelation during a press conference held at his Abuja residence on Monday, following the Court of Appeal’s decision to nullify his own election to the Senate.
Abbo specifically singled out Senator Orji Uzor Kalu as one of the five senators who could be ousted from the red chambers for failing to back Akpabio’s ambitions.

Despite the court’s verdict that declared Amos Yohanna of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the victor in the February election in Adamawa North, Senator Abbo remains resolute in his belief that he rightfully won the election, claiming a victory margin of 11,000 votes over the PDP candidate.
Senator Abbo expressed his strong condemnation of the court’s ruling, labeling it as a “coup on democracy.” In the face of adversity, he called upon his supporters to remain steadfast.
