FUBK Student Wins First Position at Nigerian Universities Qur’anic Recitation Competition in Kano

A student from the Federal University Birnin Kebbi (FUBK), Saifullahi Sanusi, has made Kebbi State and his university proud by winning first position in the 3rd category of the 20 Hizb at the Nigerian Universities Qur’anic Recitation Competition held at Bayero University, Kano.

Saifullahi, a committed student from the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Life Sciences, demonstrated exceptional mastery and dedication in the memorization and recitation of the Holy Qur’an, securing him the top spot in his category among competitors from universities across Nigeria.

This remarkable achievement reflects his unwavering discipline, spiritual commitment, and hard work. It also highlights the growing excellence in Qur’anic education within the academic environment of FUBK.

The competition, organized annually, aims to promote the memorization and correct recitation of the Qur’an among students in Nigerian universities. It provides a platform for young Muslims to showcase their spiritual talents and encourages a deeper connection with the Qur’an.
