Governor Idris Hails Former Minister Malami’s Charitable Gestures to Kebbi People

Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State – Governor Comrade Dr Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has expressed admiration for the philanthropic efforts of former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Chika Malami, in a heartfelt tribute to his contributions to the people of Kebbi State. Governor Idris commended Malami’s charitable gestures and urged him to continue assisting the less privileged in the state.

During a warm reception held at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi to welcome Malami back to the state after his eight years of service in the administration of former president Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Idris highlighted the remarkable support that the former attorney general has provided to orphans, widows, and vulnerable individuals. Malami’s efforts have significantly alleviated poverty and suffering in Kebbi State.

Governor Idris appealed to Malami to sustain his charitable initiatives through his NGOs and the Khadimiya Foundation, recognizing their effectiveness in reaching out to the less privileged in various communities across Kebbi State. Furthermore, he praised Malami as a builder who has not only elevated the people of Kebbi but also made substantial contributions to the development of the state’s political landscape.

“I cannot mention my political journey without acknowledging the significant role played by the former Minister. He has contributed to the position I hold today, and for that, I am truly grateful. I extend my heartfelt thanks to him, and he will remain in my prayers,” Governor Idris expressed.
