Steps to Register Your Voter’s Card Online
1. Visit the INEC CVR Portal
Go to the official INEC registration portal: https://cvr.inecnigeria.org.
2. Create an Account
- Click on “New Voter Pre-Registration.”
- Enter your email address and phone number.
- Create a password to log in to your account.
3. Provide Your Personal Information
- Fill in your personal details such as full name, date of birth, gender, occupation, and contact address.
- Enter your National Identification Number (NIN) if available.
- You may be asked to enter your Voter Identification Number (VIN) if you are updating or transferring your record.
4. Upload Required Documents
- Upload a recent passport-style photograph of yourself.
- Ensure the photo is clear and meets INEC requirements.
5. Select Registration Type
Choose the option that applies to you:
- New Voter Registration (for first-time voters who have just turned 18 or have never registered).
- Information Update (to correct personal details).
- Transfer of Voting Location (for those who have moved to a new area).
- Replacement of Lost/Damaged PVC.
6. Schedule an Appointment
- After completing the online pre-registration, select a nearby INEC registration centre.

7. Complete Biometric Capture
