INEC Opens Recruitment for Ad-hoc Staff in Upcoming November 11, 2023 Governorship Elections | Apply on INECPRES Portal

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has taken a significant step towards the forthcoming off-cycle governorship elections scheduled for November 11, 2023, in Kogi, Bayelsa, and Imo States. In its commitment to conducting a fair and transparent electoral process, INEC has officially initiated the recruitment process for eligible Nigerians interested in serving as ad-hoc staff members.

The positions available for application include Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs), Presiding Officers (POs), Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs), Registration Area Technicians (RATECHs), and RAC Managers. To facilitate the application process, INEC has launched the INECPRES Portal, which went live on Thursday, August 31, 2023.

Prospective applicants have the opportunity to submit their applications until midnight on October 2, 2023. To qualify, individuals must meet the specific criteria outlined by INEC. The electoral body has emphasized the importance of adhering to these criteria to ensure a capable and dedicated team for the electoral process.

Applicants are encouraged to visit the official registration portal at https://pres.inecnigeria.org/ to complete their application process. INEC aims to ensure a smooth application process and has provided a helpline for technical assistance for applicants in each state:
