The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) has begun sending screening invitations to successful applicants under its Skill-Up Artisans (SUPA) programme.
According to recent updates, shortlisted candidates are receiving text messages containing their screening date, time, and venue details. This marks the beginning of a new round of screening for artisans who applied earlier this year.

One of the messages sent to applicants reads:
“You are invited to attend the ITF SUPA screening for intending Artisans coming up on the 13th to 16th October 2025 @ ITF Calabar Office, 9am daily.”
Although the message did not specify the required documents, applicants are advised to bring their National Identification Number (NIN) and a recent passport photograph to ensure a smooth process.
Background of the ITF SUPA Programme
The SUPA initiative is part of ITF’s effort to equip Nigerian artisans with modern technical and vocational skills. The programme aims to train 100,000 artisans nationwide, helping them become more employable and self-reliant.
Earlier reports revealed that ITF had already conducted examinations for 30,000 candidates in the first phase of the exercise.
Next Steps for Applicants
Those who have received screening messages are encouraged to check their text inboxes regularly, confirm their screening venue and date, and prepare all necessary documents ahead of time.
More updates are expected as ITF continues its nationwide rollout of the SUPA programme.
