The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a crucial reminder to candidates applying for the 2024 Direct Entry (DE) admission that they must upload their results as soon as they become available, especially those with pending results from IJMB or JUPEB.
In a statement released on March 30, 2025, JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, stressed that candidates who fail to update their results will face disqualification from consideration for admission. This follows reports that some candidates had registered with awaiting results during the registration period but have yet to upload them.

Dr. Benjamin clarified that no candidate with an “awaiting result” status will be considered for admission unless they upload the required results. Furthermore, any application marked as “awaiting result” and left unupdated will automatically be disqualified.
Emphasizing the importance of verification, JAMB reaffirmed that all candidates’ credentials must be verified to confirm their eligibility. Candidates who neglect to upload their results will be regarded as having no results, thus jeopardizing their admission prospects.
As the admissions process continues, JAMB has urged future candidates, particularly those applying for the 2025 Direct Entry, to promptly upload their results once they are available to ensure a smoother and more efficient admission process.
