JAMB Changes 2025 Mock UTME Date to April 10

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has moved the 2025 Mock UTME from April 5 to April 10, 2025. This change is to ensure all preparations are completed and to improve the exam experience for candidates.

Why the Change?

JAMB’s Public Communications Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, explained that the new date allows the board to finalize arrangements and introduce new improvements.

“This adjustment ensures everything is in place and includes updates to make the exam process better.”

Main UTME Date Remains the Same

While the Mock UTME has been shifted, JAMB confirmed that the main UTME will still begin on April 25, 2025, as planned.

What Is the JAMB Mock UTME?

The Mock UTME is an optional practice test that helps candidates get used to the Computer-Based Test (CBT) system. It also allows JAMB to test its systems before the main exam.

Candidates registered for the Mock UTME should watch for updates on when to print their Mock Notification Slip, which will show their exam center and other important details.

Important Information About the 2025 JAMB UTME

JAMB Ensures a Secure Exam

JAMB confirmed that the UTME is not conducted online but through a Local Area Network (LAN) at each exam center. This ensures a smooth and secure exam without internet problems.

“Using LAN makes the exam more stable and prevents internet issues,” said JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede.

What Candidates Should Do

JAMB is committed to making the 2025 UTME a smooth and fair process for all candidates.
