
Renowned Islamic scholar and leader of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS), Sheikh Sa’eedu Hassan Jingir, has passed away after a prolonged illness. He died on Thursday, leaving behind a legacy of religious leadership and scholarship.
Until his demise, Sheikh Jingir served as the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Scholars within JIBWIS under the leadership of Sheikh Muhammad Sani Yahaya Jingir. His contributions to Islamic education and religious guidance earned him great respect within the Muslim community in Nigeria and beyond.
His funeral prayer will take place at his residence in Anguwan Rimi, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State. The event is expected to be attended by religious scholars, community leaders, and followers who revered his teachings.
Prominent Islamic figures, including former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Ali Isa Pantami, and Kano Hisbah Board Chairman, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, have expressed their condolences over his passing.
Sheikh Sa’eedu Hassan Jingir’s death is a significant loss to the Nigerian Islamic community. His impact on Islamic teachings and leadership will be remembered for generations to come.
