JUST IN: Kano Governor Makes 116 Fresh Appointments As Aides Rise Above 400

In a significant move to bolster youth engagement in governance, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has made 116 fresh appointments, further swelling the ranks of his aides. This development comes on the heels of his earlier appointment of 94 aides and a commitment to integrate more capable hands into the governance process.

The recent appointments, disclosed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, include 63 Senior Special Assistants (SSAs), 41 Special Assistants (SAs), and 12 Personal Assistants (PAs) who will serve across various government segments. With this latest round of appointments, Governor Yusuf’s team now boasts a formidable total of 406 aides.

Governor Yusuf has been resolute in defending his actions, citing his dedication to engaging the youth in governance and his commitment to ensuring the efficient discharge of responsibilities.
