
Halilu Kundila, a member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and lawmaker representing the Shanono/Bagwai constituency at the Kano State House of Assembly, has passed away. He succumbed to a prolonged illness, according to reports. The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Jibrin Ismail Falgore, confirmed this sad news through his Chief Press Secretary, Kamaluddeen Shawai.

Falgore expressed deep sorrow over Kundila’s demise, noting that it comes at a crucial time when both his constituents and the entire populace of Kano State needed him the most. He extended heartfelt condolences to Kundila’s family, as well as to the people of Shanono and Bagwai local governments, emphasizing the significant loss experienced by the entire state.
Furthermore, Falgore prayed for divine mercy upon Kundila’s soul, asking for forgiveness for his shortcomings and offering strength to his family to cope with their loss. Reports indicate that the deceased lawmaker is survived by four wives and 17 children.
