He underscored significant accomplishments such as the payment of NECO fees for 55,000 secondary school students, amounting to a remarkable N1.5 billion. Additionally, the governor highlighted the restoration of street lights and efforts to reduce incidents of phone snatching in the Kano metropolis.
Furthermore, Governor Yusuf proudly mentioned the resumption of screening for the award of foreign scholarships for Kano indigenes with first-class degrees.
