Kano State Hisbah Arrests Notorious TikTok Personality, Murja Kunya, Over Explicit Content
In a recent development, the Kano State Hisbah Board has apprehended Murja Ibrahim Kunya, a prominent TikToker known for her controversial content on various social media platforms. The arrest of Murja was confirmed by multiple local radio stations in Kano metropolis early on Tuesday.
The Kano State Hisbah Board initiated a manhunt for Murja and five other TikTok influencers approximately three weeks ago. The Board accused the group, which includes Murja, Abubakar Ibrahim (G-Fresh), Sadiya Haruna, Ashiru Idris (Maiwushirya), Ummee Shakira, and Hassan Makeup, of disseminating explicit materials through their TikTok and other social media channels.
