In preparation for the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage, the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced the sale of 2,600 Hajj seats out of the 5,934 seats allocated by the National Hajj Commission. The Director-General of the board, Alhaji Laminu Rabiu, confirmed this development during the commencement of orientation training for intending pilgrims.
Emphasizing the importance of attending the orientation exercise, Rabiu urged intending pilgrims to actively participate in the training, which will be conducted across 13 centers in Kano State. He assured pilgrims that all necessary arrangements regarding accommodation, feeding, and transportation during the Hajj have been meticulously handled by the board.

Furthermore, Rabiu called upon intending pilgrims to uphold the values of Kano State and Nigeria while in Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the significance of adhering to the rules and regulations governing the Hajj pilgrimage.
It was also highlighted that the issuance of visas for the 2024 Hajj will cease on April 29th, urging pilgrims to complete necessary formalities within the stipulated timeframe.
