Kebbi Government Donates N20 Million to Argungu Market Fire Victims

In response to the recent fire disaster at Argungu central market, the Kebbi State Government has swiftly stepped in, allocating a substantial sum of N20 million to assist the affected traders. The State Deputy Governor, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafidan Kabi, announced the donation at the Emir of Argungu’s palace.

Out of the total fund, N900,000 will be given to those who lost their shops, while N250,000 will go to those who lost stalls. The aim is to provide financial relief and aid in the recovery process for the victims. The deputy governor emphasized that this support is a temporary measure to alleviate the immediate hardships faced by the affected individuals.

Bello Yakubu Rilisko, and Deputy Chief of Staff, Alhaji Lawali Labbo Maishanu. The deputy governor personally handed out cash donations to some of the victims, underscoring the government’s commitment to aiding the recovery of those affected by this tragic incident.
