Kebbi Governor Distributes 24 Brand-New Toyota Jeeps to State Legislators

In a fulfillment of his commitment to enhance official engagements, Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has delivered on his promise by distributing 24 brand-new First Class Toyota Jeeps to the members of the State House of Assembly. The presentation ceremony took place at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi this Tuesday.

Expressing gratitude to the legislators for their cooperation and understanding, Governor Idris highlighted the harmonious working relationship between the Executive Arm and the Assembly. He underscored the importance of justice for all and urged collective efforts to meet the aspirations of the people.

Acknowledging the support and loyalty of Commissioners and the ruling APC leadership, Governor Idris emphasized that his administration has been dedicated to implementing programs and executing projects as tangible dividends of democracy.

The distributed vehicles to the Assembly members were confirmed as brand new, directly purchased, and equipped with valid paid customs duty. Governor Idris provided an overview of his administration’s commitment to enhancing various sectors, including allocating 30 new vehicles to Security Agencies, 28 to Commissioners, and now 24 to Legislators. Additionally, new Toyota Hilux vehicles were procured for Chairmen of Boards and Parastatals.

To demonstrate the quality of the vehicles, Governor Nasir Idris, accompanied by the Speaker of the Assembly, Rt. Hon. Usman Muhammad Ankwe, test drove the Jeep allocated to the Speaker. The move showcases the administration’s commitment to delivering on promises and ensuring the efficiency of the allocated resources.

As the state advances in meeting the yearnings of its people, Governor Nasir Idris remains focused on implementing inclusive policies that contribute to the overall development and progress of Kebbi State.
