Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has generously presented 21 new Hilux vehicles to the 21 newly elected local government council chairmen. This gesture, which took place at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi on Monday, aims to support the chairmen in their official duties.
The vehicles, handed over to the chairmen—all members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are intended to address their lack of official transportation. Governor Idris emphasized that having adequate vehicles is essential for the chairmen to effectively connect with their constituents and carry out their responsibilities. “It would be improper for elected council chairmen in my administration to go about without a vehicle,” Idris noted during the ceremony.
