The Kebbi State College of Nursing Science, located in Birnin Kebbi, has officially refuted claims that it expelled Rahama Saidu, a well-known TikToker and Instagram influencer, due to her social media presence. The institution clarified that Miss Saidu’s expulsion was attributed to her academic performance and her refusal to adhere to the college’s rules and regulations.
The college asserted that Rahama Saidu was expelled after failing her examinations and subsequently declining to embrace the opportunity for automatic repetition as stipulated by the school’s established regulations. According to the college’s policies, any student who accumulates three weeks of unexcused absence from both school and clinical duties is subject to repeating the semester.
“Rahama Saidu failed her exams approximately five months ago. Since then, she exhibited a consistent pattern of absenteeism from the school, and she neither accepted the opportunity to repeat the semester nor provided any valid reason for her prolonged absence. Her multiple inquiries were left unanswered, ultimately leading to her expulsion,” revealed a viral statement issued by the institution.
The statement further highlighted that the college administration was unaware of Rahama’s status as a TikToker, emphasizing that the allegations made against the college by Miss Saidu were devoid of truth, unsubstantiated, and appeared to be a deliberate attempt to tarnish the college’s reputation. The institution called on the public to disregard these unfounded accusations.
