Kebbi State Commissioner Announces Scholarship for Indigent Students: Apply Now

The Kebbi State Commissioner for Justice has announced the opening of applications for the Bello Marshall Foundation Scholarship for the 2025/2026 academic session. The scholarship, organised in collaboration with Marshall and Associates, is aimed at supporting eligible students from Birnin-Kebbi Local Government Area who are currently enrolled in public universities.

The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to promote access to education, reduce financial pressure on students, and encourage academic excellence among young people in Kebbi State.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following conditions to be considered:

  • Be an indigene of Birnin-Kebbi Local Government Area, Kebbi State
  • Be a registered student of a public university
  • Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.00
  • Possess verifiable academic records

Only candidates who satisfy all the listed requirements will be eligible for the scholarship.

Application Process

Interested and qualified students are required to print and complete the official scholarship application form within the approved application period.

The application window runs from Friday, 30 January to Thursday, 5 February 2026. Applicants are advised to fill out the form carefully and accurately to avoid disqualification.

Submission and Verification

Completed application forms must be submitted in person along with the required supporting documents. These include photocopies of academic credentials, a printed CGPA result, and a photocopy of the applicant’s current student identity card.

All documents are to be submitted at No. 3, Kofar Kola Area, near the Roundabout, Birnin-Kebbi, Kebbi State. Submission and screening will take place from Friday, 6 February to Monday, 9 February 2026.

Important Information

Late applications will not be accepted. Incomplete or falsified documents will lead to automatic disqualification. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted after the screening and verification exercise.
