Kebbi State Governor Urges Newly Appointed Accountant General to Uphold Trustworthiness in Financial Duties

In a recent press release, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, the Governor of Kebbi State, emphasized the importance of trust in financial management while addressing the newly appointed Accountant General, Alhaji Bello Ibrahim (Amirun Zoramawa). The Governor, who received a delegation from the Zoramawa and Zabarmawa communities in Kebbi, expressed his confidence in Bello’s ability to discharge his duties with integrity.

Governor Idris, represented by Deputy Governor Sen. Umar Abubakar-Tafida during the visit, highlighted the role of trust in handling finances and urged the new Accountant General to be honest, truthful, sincere, and trustworthy. Recognizing the significance of the position, he emphasized that dedication, commitment, and trust are essential for the state to progress.

Expressing gratitude for the support received, Alhaji Abubakar Gari-Malam, the leader of the visiting delegation, acknowledged that Amiru’s appointment as Accountant General was a testament to his good character and trustworthiness. He assured the governor that the new administration would not regret their decision, describing Amirun Zoramawa as a man of the people who has consistently shown a willingness to assist those in need.

In an interview with journalists following the visit, the newly appointed Accountant General, Alhaji Bello Ibrahim Amirun Zoramawa, expressed his gratitude to his creator for the opportunity to serve in his new role. He pledged to carry out his duties diligently and contribute to the rapid growth and development of Kebbi State. Bello also called for support, cooperation, and prayers from his colleagues and the public to enable him to deliver positive outcomes.
