Kebbi State Launches N75,000 Cash Transfer Program for Over 200,000 Residents

In a commendable move towards social welfare, the Kebbi State government has unveiled the Renewed Hope Cash Transfer (RHCT) program, designed to provide financial relief to 211,699 residents across all 21 local government areas. The initiative, led by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, will distribute N75,000 to each beneficiary in three instalments of N25,000.

Program Details:

The RHCT program, an integral part of the National Social Safety Net Project Scale-Up (NASSP-SU) under the President Tinubu-led administration, targets both existing beneficiaries listed on the National Social Register (NSR) and new individuals identified through the Rapid Response Register (RRR). Enrollment Process:

The enrollment process is actively underway in all 21 local government areas, covering 71 wards and 3,308 communities. The state cash transfer unit is ensuring transparency and inclusivity during registration, demonstrating a commitment to a fair and accessible process.
