Kebbi State Scholarship Screening: Important Update for Students

Kebbi State Scholarship Screening: Important Update for Students

The Kebbi State Government has established a committee to screen students from various higher institutions across the state for the payment of their registration fees (scholarship). This initiative aims to assist indigent students by covering their tuition fees.

Unfortunately, during the screening process, some students disrupted the exercise, leading to its postponement for Birnin Kebbi Local Government students. The committee has decided to complete the screening for other local governments first before rescheduling the screening for Birnin Kebbi students.

The scholarship screening covers students from the following higher institutions in Kebbi State:

Additionally, indigenous students of Kebbi State studying at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) are also eligible for the scholarship screening.

For students of Federal University Birnin Kebbi (FUBK) and Kebbi State indigenes at UDUS, the Kebbi State Students Association (KESSA) – FUBK Chapter will announce the new screening date once the committee is ready to resume the process for Birnin Kebbi indigene students.
