In a bid to enhance the cleanliness and hygiene of its environment, the Kebbi State government has announced plans to reintroduce monthly environmental sanitation starting from April 27th. This decision was revealed by the Kebbi State Commissioner for Environment, Alhaji Musa Muhammad-Tungulawa, during a meeting with the state Task Force on Health and Environmental Sanitation Committee in Birnin Kebbi.
The commissioner emphasized that the re-introduction of monthly sanitation efforts aims to complement the ongoing initiatives by Governor Nasir Idris to beautify the state. He stressed the importance of securing a clean environment for human habitation, highlighting that the beautification efforts would be futile without ensuring environmental cleanliness.
