The recently held Kebbi supplementary gubernatorial elections have been concluded, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged victorious in most polling units across the state. The APC governorship candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris Nut, defeated his closest rival, General Aminu Bande of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in several local government areas.

The results of the elections held in several polling units in Kebbi State showed a clear victory for the APC. In Unguwar Sanda, Kuberi/Gidiga Ward Maiyama L/G, the APC won the governorship election with 103 votes, while the PDP got 61 votes. The State House of Assembly election in the same polling unit was also won by the APC with 103 votes, while the PDP got 63 votes.

Similarly, in Makera Ward JAWO G/H JAWO POLLING UNIT, the APC won the governorship election with 137 votes, while the PDP got 109 votes. The total number of votes cast in the polling unit was 527, with 250 accredited voters and four invalid votes.

In Famfon Tana Polling Unit 009 Sakaba LGA, the APC won the House of Assembly election with 111 votes, while the PDP got 34 votes. The total number of votes cast in the polling unit was not disclosed.

In Maiyama Local Government, Kuberi Gidiga Ward Kuberi Kaura PU, the APC won the governorship election with 164 votes, while the PDP got 80 votes.

In Alwasa/Gotomo Ward Indire Gari, the APC won the governorship election with 99 votes, while the PDP got 74 votes.

The total number of APC and PDP results for governorship across Kebbi State are as follows:

APC: 1,977
PDP: 996

The APC has emerged victorious in the Kebbi supplementary gubernatorial elections, with the majority of votes cast in several polling units across the state. The results of the elections have been widely accepted, and the APC candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris Nut, will be sworn in as the Governor of Kebbi State.
