
Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic has been crowned Miss World 2024 in a dazzling event held in India on Saturday. She surpassed Indian contestant Sini Shetty, who reached the top 8. The first runner-up position was secured by Miss Lebanon, Yasmina Zaytoun.
According to the Press Trust of India, Karolina Bielawska, the reigning Miss World from Poland, bestowed the crown upon Pyszkova, making her the successor in this prestigious beauty pageant. This victory marks the second time a representative from the Czech Republic has claimed the Miss World title, the first being Tatana Kucharova’s win in 2006.

Krystyna Pyszkova, in her twenties, expressed her astonishment at winning the esteemed title, stating that it exceeded her expectations. During the pageant, her ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ project focused on “quality education for children,” and she pledged to use her platform as Miss World to raise awareness for this cause.
Speaking to reporters after the finale, Pyszkova shared her excitement about the supportive community of Miss World contestants and vowed to continue her advocacy work.
