NCC Increases Airtime and Data Prices by 50%: Full List of New Rates

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has announced a 50% increase in airtime and data prices for all telecommunication companies in the country. This move is aimed at reflecting the current economic realities and ensuring the sustainability of the telecommunications industry.

Below is the full list of new airtime and data prices:

Voice Calls (Per Minute)

  • MTN: ₦25 (previously ₦15)
  • Glo: ₦25 (previously ₦15)
  • Airtel: ₦25 (previously ₦15)
  • 9mobile: ₦25 (previously ₦15)

Data Bundles

  • 1GB (daily): ₦500 (previously ₦300)
  • 2GB (weekly): ₦1,200 (previously ₦800)
  • 5GB (monthly): ₦3,000 (previously ₦2,000)
  • 10GB (monthly): ₦6,000 (previously ₦4,000)

The new prices are expected to take effect immediately. Subscribers are advised to check their airtime and data balances regularly to avoid any unexpected charges.
