The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has officially opened applications for its 76th Regular Course, welcoming both male and female Nigerians. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply before the deadline on April 30, 2024.
To be eligible for admission, applicants must participate in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and achieve a minimum score of 180 for all courses, except engineering, which requires a cut-off mark of 210. The application process involves visiting the official NDA application portal at www.ndaapplications.net and submitting a fee of N3,500 via Remita.
In a statement released via their official Twitter handle, @NDefenceAcademy, the NDA emphasized the importance of downloading and carefully reading the application requirements. Applicants are also required to select NDA as their first choice during the 2024 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME examination.

Successful candidates who meet the minimum UTME score will be invited to partake in the NDA screening test, scheduled to take place at various centers across the country on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Following this, the Armed Forces Selection Board (AFCS) will conduct detailed medical, physical, and mental health tests, with the list of admitted students subsequently published.
Established in 1964, the NDA serves as a military university in Kaduna, dedicated to training officers for commissioning into the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, and Nigerian Air Force. With campuses in Afaka and Ribadu, the institution provides four years of academic training along with one year of military training.
Aspiring candidates are encouraged to review the NDA courses and cut-off marks to ensure they meet the requirements for Nigeria’s premier military university. This opportunity not only opens doors to academic excellence but also offers a path to serve the nation through the armed forces.
Aspiring individuals are urged to act promptly and navigate the application process diligently for a chance to be part of the 76th Regular Course at the Nigerian Defence Academy.
