Nigeria Customs Service NIN–Email Update Portal for Applicants with Email Issue

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has introduced a special NIN–Email Update Portal to assist applicants facing challenges with their registered email addresses. This initiative will ensure that applicants who previously could not receive important updates from NCS due to email issues can now stay informed throughout the recruitment process.

How the Portal Works

The portal is designed to verify each applicant’s National Identification Number (NIN) and allow them to update their email address.

Steps to update your email:

  1. Visit the official portal: updates.customs.gov.ng
  2. Enter your 11-digit NIN (without spaces or dashes).
  3. Click on the “Verify NIN” button.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to update your email.
