Nigeria Police Force Announces 2025 Recruitment Exercise

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has officially announced the commencement of its 2025 recruitment exercise, inviting suitably qualified Nigerians to apply for available positions. According to the notice released by the Force Headquarters in Abuja, the recruitment portal will open on Monday, 22nd September, 2025.

Who Can Apply?

The recruitment is open to applicants with the following qualifications:

• SSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB certificates with at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
• OND holders from recognized institutions.
• HND and B.Sc. holders in relevant fields.

General Requirements

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following conditions:

1. Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
2. Possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
3. Age limits:
   • 18 – 25 years for SSCE/OND holders.
   • Not more than 28 years for HND/B.Sc. holders.
4. Minimum height: 1.67m for males and 1.64m for females.
5. Must be physically and mentally fit, with a medical certificate from a government hospital.
6. Must have no criminal record.
7. Female applicants must not be pregnant at the time of application.

2. Fill out the online application form with accurate personal and academic information.
3. Upload scanned copies of required documents (academic certificates, birth certificate/age declaration, and certificate of origin).
4. Print the Acknowledgement Slip and Guarantor’s Form.
5. Await notification via SMS, email, or the official portal if shortlisted for the screening and physical verification stage.
