Online Registration Deadline
Interested applicants are required to complete their online registration by November 8, 2024. Afterward, the names of shortlisted candidates will be published on the Nigerian Army website. These successful applicants will then proceed to undergo screening in their respective states of origin from December 5 – 19, 2024.
Candidates must print and complete the Guarantor Form alongside their application. Both documents should be signed and brought to the designated state recruitment centers during the screening process.
Basic Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Nigerian Army’s 88th Regular Recruit Intake, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship: Candidates must be Nigerian citizens by birth and possess a National Identity Card or NIN slip, along with a valid BVN.
- Fitness: Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit as per the Nigerian Army’s standards and must not have any criminal record.
- Age:
- Non-trades men/women: Must be between 18 and 22 years old.
- Tradesmen/women: Must be between 18 and 26 years of age as of December 31, 2024.
- Height: Male candidates should be a minimum of 1.68 meters tall, and female candidates must be at least 1.65 meters tall.
- Education:
- Non-trades candidates must have at least four passes, including English Language, in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB, in no more than two sittings.
- Tradespeople must also possess a Trade Test Certificate or City Guild Certificate in addition to the basic educational requirements.
